Why Winning a Tatler Beauty Award 2026 Means Everything to NÆRE
Nine months after launch and we've only gone and won a TATLER Beauty Award. Some milestones you plan for. This one, has come as a beautiful, and we believe well deserved, surprise.
NÆRE Nectar 01 has won Best Greens and Collagen at the Tatler Beauty Awards. Just nine months after we launched. I want to sit with that for a second, because I don't think the number does it justice on its own. Nine months is barely long enough to find your footing in this industry, let alone to be recognised by one of the most respected beauty authorities in the country, in a category stacked with brands that have been building their name for years.

Why this category, specifically
Of everything Nectar 01 does, the greens are the part I get asked about least and think about most.
It would have been easier, formulation-wise, to lean entirely on the collagen story, it's the part of the product people already understand, already want. But Nectar 01 carries a full supergreens blend alongside the actives: matcha, spirulina, chlorella, barley grass, among others, sitting in the same scoop as Peptan® Collagen, AstaReal® Astaxanthin, Selenium SeLECT® and BioPerine®. Thirty ingredients, precisely dosed, doing different jobs, in one formula. We chose to include a supergreens complex because it was one of the supplements we were taking and we weren't happy with the quality that was out there - or the fact that we had to stack everything in order to get everything that we wanted and needed.
Winning Best Greens means the part of the product built for foundation, not headline, got seen. That means more to me than I expected it to!

What nine months actually means
I don't think people outside this industry realise how long a "new" brand has actually been in motion by the time it launches.
Nectar 01 wasn't nine months in the making. The formula behind it took six years, years of development with UK scientists, long discussions with aesthetic doctors and GPs, refining ratios, testing bioavailability, working through what a genuinely effective, genuinely honest all-in-one supplement could look like if it was built from the ground up, instead of adapted from another formula. It was a really hard time, and it took a lot blood, sweat and tears.
So when I say nine months, I mean nine months since you could buy it. Not nine months since it existed. There's a difference, and this win is the first time an outside body has looked at the finished thing, not the pitch or the founder story, not the beautiful packaging and they have confirmed that the years of work behind it actually hold up.
Why we built it this way
It has become clear that the wellness industry is desperate in need of its own reset. When we started NÆRE we dissected the hidden mechanics driving the modern supplement and wellbeing market:
The Regulation & Development Gap: How products are actually made, the stark lack of transparency in product development, and the sprawling regulatory blind spots in the wellness space.
The “Fix Yourself” Marketing Trap: The pervasive, shame-based narrative built around top-performing ads. Terms like “debloat” and “fix yourself” fuel a perpetual cycle of clickbait designed to make women feel inherently inadequate. How does anyone achieve a calm nervous system when constantly being told they aren’t good enough?
The Gender Tax on Wellbeing: The staggering disparity in advertising algorithms, where the cost to target a woman aged 25–55 on Meta platforms is considerably higher than targeting her male counterpart. Women are systematically bombarded with messaging telling them to over-optimise their bodies and their time. It’s exhausting.
The industry has shifted from authentic self-care to a culture of more is more. Adding and stacking. You buy products without full clarity on what is actually inside them, driven by fear, hoping to make yourself "better."
This gap between beauty and wellbeing (and the absolute chaos of navigating it) is the exact reason NÆRE exists. It's something worth investing in, properly, with formulations that respect what your body is actually doing on a normal day.
Tatler recognising that, this early, tells us that the people paying closest attention to this industry are starting to see it too.

What this means for what comes next
A win like this doesn't change the formula. It doesn't change the six years that went into it, or the team who built it, or the reason NÆRE exists in the first place.
What it changes is smaller and, honestly, more important to me right now: it means the next person deciding whether to trust a nine-month-old brand with their morning routine has one more reason to say yes.
We're just getting started, come and join us on the journey.
