Inside NÆRE's Condé Nast Wellbeing Bar | A Fashion Month Reset
A pause before the pace. NÆRE arrived at Condé Nast’s London offices to create a wellbeing bar for the teams behind Vogue, GQ, Tatler, Vanity Fair and Allure, a moment of considered calm before fashion month begins.
September has a particular energy in London. Summer disperses, diaries refill and the city seems to sharpen almost overnight and, for the teams working across fashion, beauty and culture, the pace accelerates further still. Collections, deadlines, shows, events. The familiar carousel of fashion month beginning to turn.
So, for our first days of September, we went somewhere that understands that pace better than most, Condé Nast. Home to some of the world's most recognisable editorial titles, including Vogue, GQ, Tatler and Vanity Fair, its London offices sit at the centre of the conversations shaping fashion, beauty, culture and luxury.
But our intention was simple, to create a different kind of return to work. Not a detox, not an overhaul, just a beautifully considered pause before the pace.

The NÆRE Wellbeing Bar
Nadia and I arrived to transform the Condé Nast kitchen into the NÆRE Wellbeing Bar - serving our daily Nectar 01 collagen and supergreens over ice to editors and teams from across the building.
Nectar 01 brings together 30 precisely dosed ingredients, including 8,000mg Peptan® marine collagen, hyaluronic acid, astaxanthin, supergreens, vitamins and minerals, in one daily drink. The idea behind it has always been reduction rather than addition: fewer products, considered properly - toegther, working as a team.

Served ice-cold, it became something closer to a morning aperitif than a supplement, gorgeous green glasses passed across the counter while conversations moved from skin and collagen to ingredient sourcing, supplementation and what actually constitutes a good formula. It gave us a chance to introduce them to The Integrity Index and the conversations were fascinating. A small interruption to the working day, designed for the busiest.
Flowers with Intention
The space itself was framed by bespoke floral arrangements created with London-based Korean Barley Flower Studio.

Barley approaches flowers less as decoration and more as an artistic medium. The studio brings together florists, styling designers and multidisciplinary creatives, using flowers to connect space, texture and emotion through a distinctly restrained point of view. Their founder Boli describes the work almost as composition: considering the rhythm, balance and feeling of a space rather than simply filling it. It felt so innately NÆRE to us we knew we had to have them join us.
Both brands share an appreciation for restraint, allowing individual materials to retain their identity, choosing carefully rather than excessively, and understanding that the most beautiful result is often the one that has been edited.
For the Condé Nast space, this translated into sculptural, simple and green arrangements that felt alive without feeling overworked, nature, but considered.
Serving Nectar 01 at the perfect temperature
And because details matter, our Nectar 01 was kept refreshingly cold in chic FIELDBAR cooler boxes.

Designed and handcrafted in Cape Town, FIELDBAR takes its cues from traditional safari equipment, objects designed to be technically excellent and incredibly durable, without sacrificing their beauty. Its philosophy centres on buying fewer, better things and designing products that can be repaired, cared for and kept rather than continually replaced. An approach that also resonated with us. There is something decidedly NÆRE about an object that does one job exceptionally well and looks good enough to remain in view while doing it.
What's actually in your supplements?
Alongside serving Nectar 01, we introduced the teams to The Integrity Index™ a platform we've created to encourage a more critical look at what sits behind a supplement label. Because an impressive ingredient list tells only part of the story.
Dosage matters, ingredient form matters, clinical evidence matters. The supporting ingredients matter. And increasingly, we believe supplement consumers deserve to understand the difference between an ingredient included because it genuinely earns its place and one included because its name looks compelling on the front of a packet. We're encouraging more transparency and asking more people to analyse and check the ingredients and labels of what they're putting into their bodies.
The question behind The Integrity Index™ is deliberately simple:
Do you actually know what's in your supplements?
It is an invitation to look further, past wellness language and front-of-pack claims and examine what is really inside.

For us, that transparency has always formed part of The NÆRE Standard: clinically supported ingredients, meaningful doses and a formulation where every component has a reason for being there. Read more about the NÆRE approach to supplementation
And because the whole point of wellbeing is balance...
There were, of course, cookies. More specifically, matcha cookies from Crème London because our interpretation of wellbeing has never involved pretending pleasure and health belong in separate categories.

The London bakery takes its inspiration from New York's famously generous cookies, filtered through the precision of French patisserie. Everything is baked daily in its Soho and Notting Hill kitchens with an approach built around good ingredients, proper technique and absolutely no fear of butter or sugar.
A glass of supergreens and collagen in one hand, a matcha cookie in the other - perfection. Wellbeing, with a life attached to it.
A pause before the pace.
As September begins and London's attention turns towards the shows, this was our version of a reset. Without restriction, or reinvention. A time to reconnect and talk about what wellbeing means to us. Not the expectation that a new month requires becoming an entirely new person. Instead, a few considered things that make the everyday feel better: good ingredients, beautiful surroundings, something cold to drink, something sweet to eat and a little more knowledge about what we put into our bodies.
Then, back to work. Fashion month awaits!
