The Quest for Flavour:Years in the Making

You might wonder, "Why the obsession with flavour?" Well, I know for me, I have spent years gulping down my nutrition, adding a complicated array of multiple supplements together in a bid to feel good, usually bitter, usually unpleasant. I kinda reached the conclusion that if something is 'good for you,' chances are it doesn't light up the taste buds.

Philippa and I kept thinking, "Why isn't there a brand out there that feels chic, effortless and actually makes your life easier? More human and less chemist."

So, when we set out to create NÆRE Nectar 01, armed with an incredible team of scientists and experts, taste was paramount.

The idea that one formula could stand up against the entire contents of anyone's supplement drawer was already a challenge. An all-encompassing elixir, simplifying, guiding, and one that could fit in with real-world routine.

The testing process of NÆRE was an intricate and time-consuming one that required meticulous attention to detail. While the clinical studies produced incredible insights into the nutritional benefits of the ingredients, each sample presented a unique flavor profile. We've been here many times before - Collagen that leaves a metal or even worse aftertaste. Capsules with limited bioavailability and absorption that offers mediocre results.

The NÆRE team and I would compare notes - Too sweet, too tart, too fake. In particular, the chlorella and spirulina complex introduced a vibrant green color that made me pause. One kept rising to the top, a mango, pineapple, passion fruit infusion. It felt light, refreshing and honestly, delicious.

All we needed to do was shake it with chilled water and sip.
